Two new limited-edition whiskeys blending science fiction and Kentucky craft have hit the market, thanks to a collaboration between Stellum Spirits and Star Trek Spirits. The limited-edition bottles — each inspired by “Star Trek” and filled with high-proof whiskey — are available now for $79 each at startrekspirits.com.

The release comprises two expressions: a Blended Rye Whiskey and a Cask Strength Blended Whiskey. The latter is a bourbon finished in oloroso sherry casks. Each comes in a bottle modeled after Romulan Ale, a nod to Star Trek lore that adds a layer of collectibility for fans and whiskey drinkers alike. Only three barrels of each expression were made, making these releases quite limited in nature.

Stellum, a whiskey label under the prolific blender Barrell Craft Spirits, teamed up with Star Trek Spirits, part of the Spirits That Rock portfolio, to produce the limited run. The collaboration combines Stellum’s approach to contemporary blending with Star Trek’s decades-deep connection to pop culture.

Both expressions are available exclusively online.
