These Are the Best American Blended Whiskeys, According to the San Francisco World Spirits Competition
On Monday, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition unveiled the two finalists for its Best American Blended Whiskey award: Breckenridge Distillery Two Clans Blended Whiskey and High Bank Distillery Whiskey War Barrel Select Batch #11 – Double Double Pinot Noir.
The winner between these two whiskeys will officially be announced on June 13 at the Top Shelf Gala in Las Vegas, Nevada. The High Bank product will be named the winner, High Bank told Whiskey Raiders earlier this month.

Breckenridge Distillery Two Clans Blended Whiskey
An unusual whiskey, this release from Colorado distillery Breckenridge is a blend of Breckenridge’s popular Dark Arts Malt Mash and peated scotch from the Highlands.
This mix of peated and unpeated malt is bottled at 102 proof and sells for a suggested retail price of $75.
High Bank Distillery Whiskey War Barrel Select Batch #11 – Double Double Pinot Noir
For this whiskey, Columbus, Ohio distillery High Bank took its standard Whiskey War Double Oaked and finished it in a Pinot Noir cask. Aged for six years and bottled at 115.5 proof, this sold-out whiskey is tough to come by.
This victory will give High Bank the distinction of being the first distillery to be awarded Best Blended Whiskey in America at the San Francisco World World Spirits Competition in three consecutive years.
