Fred Minnick reported on Wednesday that New Riff Distilling was spreading its distribution wings and is now available for purchase in the following four states: Louisiana, South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.

“New Riff Distilling is excited about reaching new customers in these markets and the opportunities that will follow,” New Riff President Mollie Lewis said, according to a news release reported by Fred Minnick. “As we continue to serve our customers and foster growth, we look for strong partnerships in our distributors. By working together, we are on the path for success in growing New Riff’s name in the whiskey space.”

The brand partnered with New Orleans distributor Wines Unlimited, a brand that has almost 60 years of experience in the business. In South Carolina, the brand partnered with Advintage Distributing, a distributor whose focus is craft beer and spirits.

New Riff is about to enter North Carolina’s market by joining forces with Republic National Distributing Company, and in Georgia the brand will be working with Empire Distributors.

In early March, New Riff announced the release of its oldest bourbon: an 8-year-old bourbon from Kentucky. The whiskey is the newest edition to the brand’s core lineup and hosts a suggested retail price of $67.99.

The brand referred to 2024 as “a transformational year” after appointing its first master distiller in January. Brian Sprance was hired for the position and was initially scouted by New Riff’s consulting master distiller, Larry Eberrsold, right before the brand was founded in 2014.

The brand will celebrate its 10th Anniversary in June.
