High West Rolls Out Latest Batch of High Country American Single Malt Whiskey

On Friday, Utah distillery High West announced the limited-edition return of its High Country American Single Malt.
High West High Country American Single Malt is a blend of 3- to 10-year-old whiskeys aged in a mix of freshly charred and second-use oak barrels. The whiskey released Friday in limited quantities at the brand’s distillery and Saloon locations in Utah, as well as to retailers nationwide.The blend is composed of 85% base malt, 14% caramel 60 malt and 1% chocolate malt.
Bottled at 88 proof, High West High Country American Single Malt is also available via High West’s website for $79.99.

Nose: Warm croissants, bananas foster, white grape jelly on toast points, mountain meadows
Taste: Honeydew melon drizzled with raw honey, dulce de leche, praline, shortbread raisin cookies, tobacco
Finish: Autumn strolls, vanilla cream, maple syrup
