Heaven Hill announced the release of its 2025 Heritage Collection, a 19-year-old wheat whiskey. Heaven Hill shared that this is the oldest wheat whiskey release from the brand to date and has a suggested retail price of $299.99.
The whiskey is derived from a mashbill of 51% wheat, 37% corn and 12% malted barley and is bottled at 100 proof. Just 277 barrels were made in August and September of 2005. The barrels spent 19 years aging on the fifth and sixth floors of rickhouse Y.
“This 19-year-old Kentucky Straight Wheat Whiskey is especially unique, as a product with this mashbill at this age offers an exceptional depth and complexity that is rarely seen,” Master Distiller Conor O’Driscoll said in a news release. “It truly represents the high standard that Heaven Hill is known for and is a great example of how craftsmanship and patience can pay off when you’re willing to wait for the highest-quality product to come from the Whiskey-making process.”
The whiskey is housed in a box, bedecked in Heaven Hill’s signature blue color. All information such as the production date, mashbill information, and warehouse location is also included in the packaging. Heaven Hill shared that it intends to ship out its orders in March 2025.
The 2024 Heaven Hill Heritage Collection was an 18-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon that was distilled from a mashbill of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley. Just 133 barrels of the liquid were produced. If you want to read what the critics thought of it, you can read the reviews here.
