Mike Rowe, the man behind the Discovery Channel show “Dirty Jobs,” has a new reason to celebrate. Rowe’s Knobel Whiskey hit shelves in the U.S. this past weekend.

Rowe took to Twitter to share his excitement about the release.

While Knobel first debuted in December 2021, it is now finally being distributed to physical stores in the U.S. The whiskey brand was inspired by Rowe’s grandfather, Carl Knobel, whom Rowe called “Pop.”

“The whiskey is here,” Rowe said on Instagram. “We’ve had some supply chain issues. But at long last, Knobel Tennessee Whiskey is here and I am in a celebratory mood. So perhaps you’ll join me in a virtual drink. Carl Knobel was my granddad, and Dirty Jobs was a tribute to him. So, too, was Mike Rowe WORKS. So, 100 percent of the net proceeds go to the Mike Rowe WORKS Foundation when you buy a bottle of Knobel.”

The WORKS foundation provides scholarships to high school graduates who choose to learn a trade rather than attend a four-year institution. The program was founded by Rowe in 2008. It has since provided more than $5 million in scholarships to future blue-collar workers.
