Silverbelly Whiskey announced on Monday that the brand launched its first limited single-barrel release, and six of the barrels were chosen by the brand’s founder, country music singer Alan Jackson. The five-and-a-half-year Tennessee Bourbon Whiskey clocks in at 115 proof and was distilled, bottled and aged in Tennessee.
“We are truly thrilled to offer our first limited-time single barrel release out into the world,” CEO of Silverbelly Whiskey Robbie Goldsmith said in a statement. “We know how big of a hit this will be not only within the Tennessee whiskey community but more broadly across the country and look forward to offering our consumers the opportunity to enjoy something truly unique, made for a good time.”
Silverbelly Whiskey shared that the release will be “available by request” in over 15 markets, 47 states, and within the United Kingdom. The whiskey is priced at $65.99 via the brand’s website.
On Silverbelly’s socials, the brand shared that just 420 bottles are available for release, and the brand urged Jackson and whiskey fans to “get them while you can!”
Silverbelly described the whiskey’s flavor profile on its Instagram as “The perfect combination of sweet and heat, made for a Good Time.”
This limited release follows Jackson’s third batch of Silverbelly. The whiskey was called “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow;” it was named after the fourth single in Jackson’s first album “Here in the Real World.” The whiskey dropped in March 2023.
Jackson’s single barrel release is a stark departure from previous drops of Silverbelly, which clocked in at 91 proof. If you’d like to know our thoughts on them, you can read our review here.
