Metro police in Madison, Tennessee arrested two men on Friday after the men were caught trying to make off with the makings of the popular call drink, Vodka Red Bull. The two individuals allegedly broke into a total of 10 train cars and were discovered with cases of vodka and Red Bull in their possession when police arrived.

Two men, later identified as Jason Potter and Ashton Balentine, were spotted on the tracks by a CSX railroad investigator on Friday. Police received a tip around 3:30 p.m. about a burglary in progress at the train station near the end of Florence Avenue and Welworth Street in Madison.

When the authorities arrived, Potter was found sitting next to 30 cases of Svedka vodka as reported by WKRN. Police saw Balentine dropping two more cases of vodka as the officers approached them.

At the scene, police reported that ten shipping containers had evidence of being broken into. One of the opened train cars was filled with cases of vodka. Another shipping container that was broken into had multiple cases of Red Bull found next to it.

Potter and Balentine allegedly admitted to tampering with the train cars and took the vodka for the “purpose of drinking it,” according to police.

Metro police took both men into custody and charged them with felony burglary of a motor vehicle.
