CBS reported in January that Eric Trump had been engaged in discussions to revive his father’s defunct brand, and it appears that he’s finally figured out the logistics.

Donald Trump, notably a teetotaler, first launched Trump Vodka in 2005. It was produced in the Netherlands and later Germany before being discontinued in 2011, one of many business ventures from the now-president that went bankrupt, including Trump Steaks, Trump University, Trump Magazines, a bottled water line, a marketing company, a mortgage company, a TV production company, an airline, a talk radio program, a board game and various hotels and casinos.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom responded to the news in his usual trolling fashion on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. Newson quoted a post about the vodka announcement, responding with an AI-generated image of a “Newsom Wine.”
