This year, there’s something majorly different about it on the production side: It was made using the sweet mash fermentation process.

On Monday, Jim Beam unveiled a limited-edition 8-year-old bourbon packaged in a bowling pin-shaped bottle — a nod to a historic Beam decanter. The Beam Pin Bottle celebrates the 230th anniversary of the James B. Beam Distilling Co. and will be released Aug. 23, “Jim Beam Day,” exclusively at the Distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. It has a suggested retail price of $99.99.

Four Roses Distillery announced on Monday that it will release its 2025 Limited Edition Small Batch Bourbon on Sept. 3, marking the 18th entry in the annual series. The release features a blend of three bourbon recipes drawn from four different batches, aged between 13 and 19 years.

Bottles are set to arrive on shelves nationwide on Sept. 1 for a limited time. The 70-proof flavored whisky has a suggested retail price of $26.99.
