This year’s edition is an 11-year-old Kentucky Straight American Whiskey bottled at cask strength. The limited-release whiskey is set to launch in September with a suggested retail price of $179.99.

Buffalo Trace’s Sister Distillery Debuts a Rare Bourbon Finished in Hungarian Oak

A. Smith Bowman Distillery — the Virginia-based distillery that shares a parent company with Buffalo Trace — on Monday announced the third and final release in its experimental Oak Series: Abraham Bowman Oak Series: Hungarian Oak, a 12-year-old bourbon aged in charred Hungarian oak barrels. The limited release will be available through an online lottery from Aug. 11-18.
