Produced by the Washington-based Woodinville Whiskey Co., this bourbon is distilled from a mashbill of 55% corn, 35% rye and 10% malted barley and bottled at 100 proof.

Heavy barrel char and spice on the nose right away, toffee, candied ginger, clove and cracked pepper.
Rich on the palate, with heavy spice, clove, cola, root beer, toffee, caramel candies and a pop of green wood/younger oak. Pleasant, rich and tons going on on the palate. There’s an unusual char and oak note, but overall, I like it!
Long finish, heavy on cola, char, espresso and anise with some candied ginger, toffee and heavy oak.
This is a bruiser — there’s so much going on! With a touch less of that green-wood note on the palate, this would be a rockstar, and it’s a demonstration that Woodinville has good things in store!
