Wiggly Bridge Small Barrel is a small-batch bourbon distilled and bottled by Wiggly Bridge in York, Maine. The bourbon contains 57% corn, 38% rye and 5% malted barley, uses sour mash fermentation with Scottish whisky yeast and ages at least three years in 30-gallon barrels with medium toast and level 3 char. It retails for about $53 per bottle.

  • The blend of spicy pepper, char and oak blends so nicely with the sweet baking spices. It’s a good bourbon to cozy up with in fall and winter.

  • Regardless, the bourbon is developed with an ample rye backbone, yet is still relatively light overall which could be attributed to its proof. What it does offer is pleasant, though it will be most appealing to those who prefer a lighter sip.
