  • Overall, this is an unusual whiskey but about the best of WhistlePig's various "stock" releases. It's well ahead of Farmstock releases past and present, and if you enjoy a toasted element, this release matches ridiculous fun with easily enjoyable whiskey.

  • Nose:

Bready and full of caramel, honey, sweet marshmallow and graham cracker, a kiss of oak and some ginger snap cookies and Belgian waffle.

  • Taste:

Medium mouthfeel, more oak forward than the nose. A bit of buttercream, caramel candies and some maple sugar. Touch of berry and marshmallow sweetness. It's sort of like a brown sugar Pop-Tart on the palate, with a prickle of heat despite the lower proof.

  • Finish:

The finish is easily the best part, blending together toast, sweetness and spice. Graham cracker, pepper, a touch of candied ginger, caramel candies, buttercream and light, sweet oak.
