Released in September 2024, this is a single-barrel release from WhistlePig, the Vermont-based distillery known for its rye. A member of WhistlePig's Legends Series, this is a collaboration with the Finnish Formula 1 racer Valtteri Bottas and his team, KICK Sauber. This rye is finished in gin barrels from Bottas' brand, OΛTH Gin. Bottled at 100.77 proof, this bottling is priced at $59.99.

Toffee, brown butter, big rye spice, a huge pop of juniper, apple butter, lemon and some pepper.
Moderate palate with a ton of sweet cream, brown butter, maple, lemon peel, juniper, cracked pepper and rye spice.
Long finish. Odd but satisfying tug of war between rye spice, sweet dessert notes and the citrus and juniper of the gin casks.
This release is a weird one in a way only WhistlePig can pull off. It’s a delicate balance of rye spice, big dessert character and all of that delicious Oath character. It’s a great balance, but fans of gin or juniper need not apply.
