Released in May 2024, this is the second "Legacy" release from country musician Eric Church's Whiskey JYPSI brand. Named "The Alchemist," this whiskey is a blend of 11-year-old Tennessee whiskey (60%); 18.5-year-old Canadian rye whisky finished in a mix of port, Spanish vermouth and sherry casks (36%); and 10-year-old Indian single malt whisky aged in ex-bourbon casks (4%). Bottled at 57.2% ABV, this expression was bottled by Church's company, Outsider Spirits, in Tennessee.

Sweet, creamy and complex on the nose. Big-time almond, maple and caramel cake notes on the nose are joined by pleasant oak, tobacco, a big hit of clove, cracked pepper and pine.
Thick, chewy mouthfeel. The palate is rich and sweet and confectionary with lots of almond, caramel and cherry danish, plus undercurrents of pepper, clove, peppermint and tobacco.
Long finish that’s sweet and savory. Brown sugar-glazed bacon, brioche, sweet blueberry pie, cherries.
This is awesome, complex and absolutely delicious. Take price out of the equation (which we do in our reviews), and nobody in the celebrity whiskey space is doing it like Eric Church.
