Westward American Single Malt Whiskey, distilled at Westward Whiskey's House Spirits Distillery in Portland, Oregon, is made from Oregon two-row pale malted barley. It undergoes double pot distillation and aging in new charred American oak barrels.
Gentle barrel spices are integrated nicely throughout which tames the sweetness just a bit. An ale beer as a sidecar would be a great pairing for this robust whiskey.
