Produced at Casa Tarasco Spirits in Mexico, Uruapan Charanda Blanco Single Agricola is made solely from sugarcane juice. In contrast, the brand's Single Blended Rum is a blend of sugarcane juice and molasses distillates. The Single Agricola is also bottled at a slightly higher ABV.
This is certainly worth keeping an eye out for – if you do see it for sale at around the £40 mark or less then I wouldn’t hesitate in picking up a bottle. Especially, if you are seeking out something a little different.
I don’t think we will ever be friends, unfortunately. It reminds me quite a bit of Clairin Sonson, but the latter is way more sound in what it does, how it delivers, and crucially, much more to my personal, objective liking.
