Uncle Val’s Zested Gin features juniper, bergamot orange, coriander and barley malt. It starts with a neutral grain base of corn, distilled five times using purified aquifer water from the Sonoran desert. Notably, this spirit is classified as a compound gin, meaning the botanicals are added post-distillation.
The mouth is surprisingly earthy, roasty, and rich-tasting, with a distinct malty chocolateyness backed up by aromatic citrus and a rosemary-like herbal flavor.
