Umiki Japanese Whisky is a blended whisky produced by Yoshino Spirits Co in Japan. It is bottled at 46% ABV and aged in pine barrels. The whisky is crafted using ocean-side distilled malt whiskies and blended with desalinated ocean water from the Pacific Ocean. Priced at around $48.
Overall, this is a pretty interesting whisky and we will possibly see more on the shelves. I will be intrigued to see this particular whisky aged a little bit more or maybe even being finished in a sweet wine cask.
