I feel like a stuck record with the “The nose was better than the palate” line. Perhaps I should just smell whisky from now on! I thought the nose was superb, but the palate is a little disappointing.
It's funny this is labeled the "gentle dram" because, gotta tell ya, I'm not conjuring images of warm, fuzzy bunnies and meadow song while sipping this. Tastes kind of youthful for its 14 years.
