House Review
Nose:
Honey, sherry, malty dough, creamy, mild tobacco and musty attic. Very pleasant, obviously sherry finishing or refill m aturation from the mildness of the notes and the nice integration.
Taste:
Sweet granny smith apples, pears vanilla. Honey cream and faint sherry notes. Theres lots of pleasant toffee and caramel also.
Finish:
Medium in length, sharp but not too hot. Still sweet and creamy. Good deal of toffee and light tobacco with lots of fruit.
Overall:
Its very good. Sweet and well beyond regular Tomatin, which, I think will spoil the regular offering for me. This is light years ahead. For reference, regular Tomatin 12yr scores a Rank 4 in my book. This will command a Rank 6.
