  • Nose:

    Heavy red fruits, caramel, slate and cinnamon on the nose with a punch of oak, toffee and cherry.

  • Taste:

    Pleasant sweetness on the palate combined with oak, tannin, honey, red berries and cherry, honey and a punch of baking spice.

  • Finish:

    Long finish, a bit dry and oaky but plenty complex, marrying cherry, sweet toffee, a hint of minerality and sweet oak nicely.

  • Overall:

    These Thomas S. Moore bottles are total sleepers, and this is one of the best accessible wine finishes on the market that is well integrated, not heavy handed and available.
