Heavy red fruits, caramel, slate and cinnamon on the nose with a punch of oak, toffee and cherry.
Pleasant sweetness on the palate combined with oak, tannin, honey, red berries and cherry, honey and a punch of baking spice.
Long finish, a bit dry and oaky but plenty complex, marrying cherry, sweet toffee, a hint of minerality and sweet oak nicely.
These Thomas S. Moore bottles are total sleepers, and this is one of the best accessible wine finishes on the market that is well integrated, not heavy handed and available.
