  • This is a distinctive bourbon. It’s interesting to see so much tropical fruit in a pour, but it’s unique, and fun, and while not the top of the charts, it’s a fun pour — no matter who made it.

  • Nose:

Honey, full of banana, tropical fruits, sweet rising bread and custard. Light, sweet, fruity.

  • Taste:

Moderate mouthfeel, honey, light oak, pepper, sweet oak and peppy ginger. Some papaya, tropical fruits. It’s unusual on the palate, possibly one of the fruitier bourbons I’ve had.

  • Finish:

Short finish, honey forward with notes of almond, papaya, sweet oak and caramel candies.

  • Overall:

This is a distinctive bourbon. It’s interesting to see so much tropical fruit in a pour, but it’s unique, and fun, and while not the top of the charts, it’s a fun pour — no matter who made it.
