The Solan Gold Indian Single Malt Whisky is produced by Mohan Meakin Limited at the Kasauli Distillery in the Himalayan Highlands at an elevation of over 6,000 feet in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is made using copper pot stills, malted barley and Himalayan spring water, and matured in virgin American oak casks. The whisky is bottled at 42.8% ABV and sells for around $59.
