The Macklowe Red Label is a Kentucky straight bourbon produced for The Macklowe Whiskey, the whiskey brand founded by Julie Macklowe. Made from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley, the bourbon is sourced from an undisclosed Kentucky distillery and aged for more than four years in ISC Cooper's Select new American oak barrels. Bottled at 46% ABV, the small-batch release is drawn from 10 casks. According to the producer, it offers aromas of vanilla wafers, orange peel and honeycomb, followed by notes of lemon, vanilla, cake batter and baking spice, with a citrus-forward finish. It typically retails for about $69-$70.
