The Macklowe Gold Edition is a limited-edition Kentucky whiskey produced for The Macklowe Whiskey. Created by master distillers Ian MacMillan and Brendan McCarron, the release is sourced from Kentucky and matured for more than four years in ISC Cooper's Select Char 1 and Char 3 barrels. The whiskey was blended from 10 hand-selected barrels and bottled at 46% ABV. Limited to 2,544 bottles worldwide, it typically retails for $295. According to the producer, it offers aromas of vanilla cream, chili flakes and black pepper, followed by notes of black cherry, honey, charred oak and eucalyptus, with a rich and spicy finish.
