The Lost Explorer Tobalá is made with tobalá agave aged at least 10 years. It is produced by Maestro Mezcalero Fortino Ramos in San Pablo Huixtepec, Oaxaca, Mexico.
A warming and lengthy finish shows a bitter steak of pistachio shells, cigar wrappers, and burnt caramel, along with lemon peel, white pepper, and coriander.
