The Highland Shepherd Single Malt Scotch Whisky is produced by Blair Athol distillery and bottled by independent bottler Brave New Spirits. The whisky is matured 5 to 8 years in ex-bourbon oak casks and bottled at 46% ABV. It is available for around $50.
In conclusion, I really enjoyed this whisky, I suggest adding three drops of water to enhance the pastry hints even more. Excellent paired with Sicilian butter and almond biscuits or Modica chocolate.
