The Famous Grouse Bourbon Cask Scotch, bottled at 40% ABV, blends whiskies mostly aged in American oak, including bourbon casks. It typically retails for around $21.99.
It’s a different expression, that’s for sure. But I don’t think that they’ve improved the flavor. It feels like they’ve gone a little too far with the bourbon and knocked things out of whack. I’m not saying it’s necessarily bad, but just that the original is my preferred version.
