The Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve is matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry butts, then finished in cru Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. Produced in Scotland.
The taste carries over those same notes, with additional touches of almonds and allspice helping to give it a good mouthfeel. The finish is rich and smooth with toffee, honey, and citrus notes.
