  • There is some serious age here as well as some delightful wine casks; complex and satisfying, this is an excellent cigar Scotch for someone who wants to pair a lighter wrap cigar with something less smoky but that still carries some weight.

  • The palate echoes big, rich caramel tones, followed by dusty cocoa powder and hints of black licorice and clove. The long, lip-smacking finish offers oak, cocoa and leather.

  • The 18 can firmly be described as my preferred derivation within the Principal Collection from the distillery. That being said, I cannot say the bottling is an absolute necessity.
