The Akkeshi Single Malt Japanese Whisky Peated Keichitsu 2023 is distilled by Akkeshi Distillery in Akkeshi, Japan, and is the 10th release in its 24 Sekki series. It is crafted using both sourced and locally grown Hokkaido barley and is double distilled in Forsythe copper pot stills before aging in a mix of Hokkaido Mizunara oak, ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and ex-red wine barrels. This non-chill filtered whisky is bottled at 55% ABV.
