Bottled at 40% ABV, Tamnavulin Speyside Single Malt Scotch Sherry Cask Edition is matured in American oak and finished in three types of Spanish oloroso sherry casks.
The palate is sticky and honeyed with just a touch of green banana, but also dark caramel, red apples and almonds. A good value whisky that compares favorably to many big name Speysiders
here’s enough going on that, even for more experienced whisky drinkers, it should be an enjoyable whisky – and I’d certainly be happy to buy this bottle again to keep as one of my regular sippers.
