  • Nose:

    Pleasant on the nose. A sweet aroma mixes caramel, root beer, powdered sugar and sweet corn.

  • Taste:

    Moderate viscosity. It’s not overly viscous but it has a really nice oiliness to it. Enjoyable palate that mixes light oakiness with soft, corn-heavy sweet notes — butterscotch, sweet corn cake, meringue and a pop of bubblegum — and a bright, tangy, fruity side: apple tart, taffy, orange peel, plus a bit of nuttiness — almonds and peanuts

  • Finish:

    The finish is short to medium, opening with oak and root beer, the introduces coconut shavings, meringue and a touch of tobacco.

  • Overall:

    This is really good, easy-drinking bourbon. It’s just viscous enough, totally delicious and has enough going on. I’m impressed. 89
