Studio Null wines begin as traditionally fermented, fully alcoholic wines made from hand-harvested grapes. The alcohol is then removed through a low-temperature vacuum distillation process that preserves the wine’s body and aroma. After dealcoholization, the wines average 0.3% ABV, down from the typical 12–14%. Studio Null Grüner Weiss is a dry white wine from a certified sustainable vineyard in Austria.
Overall, this is a light, tasty and dry non-alcoholic white with a low sugar rating at 4g sugar per 5oz glass. If you’re interested in exploring sommelier territory, this is a fun and easy wine to try (although it’s not easy on the wallet).
Slightly sour on the finish, it’s a wine that grows on you after a glass or so, eventually melding its flowery aromatics with a peach-meets-citrus sweetness. Certainly better than many standard table wines I’ve had.
