One hundred fifty-five 9-liter cases are set to release in 2026, with 55 of those cases going to brand homes and the other 100 heading to retail in Colorado, California, Texas and Florida.

Phenomenal nose. Plenty of cognac influence. Sweet blueberry compote, cotton candy, honey, golden delicious apple, mango lassi, crème brûlée, cinnamon and a slight minerality.
A tremendous balance of flavors. It's light and floral yet tannic and oaky, plus spicy. Blackberry, honey, peach tea, clove, cinnamon, leather, white pepper, tannin, orange candies.
The finish leans on oak and Cognac at the outset, with notes of leather, cocoa powder and tobacco giving way to clove, cinnamon and sweet Tokaji.
A great, layered expression from Stranahan's. The Cognac and Tokaji complement the whiskey very well. It also drinks tremendously at 94.6 proof. In many cases, with a whiskey priced at $130, I'd want to taste it at a higher proof, but this has a lovely viscosity and drinks perfectly as is. There is, it should be noted, a lot of oak. In my opinion, Stranahan's natural bright and fruity profile is well suited to take on that hefty oak, but some drinkers may find this a bit too tannic.
