  • It’s sweet and rich, but enough rye to keep it complex. There’s things there to feed the barely legal rye lovers and the 100% hardcore rye heads.

  • Stellum Rye is finally another that gets awarded into my own personal pantheon of favorite ryes that I will continue to always have on hand. It uniquely finds a place in between bold and complex and is able to carve out a satisfying middle ground it can call its own

  • No doubt one of my favorite recent tastings. This is a nice, smooth rye with good balance between the spice and the fruity notes.

  • The palate showcases brown sugar, licorice, gingersnaps, white peppercorns, menthol, and faintly, chocolate syrup. On the finish, there's salted caramel, cedar shavings, and fresh mint sprigs.

  • Excellent, from tip to tail. Stellum Spirits first Rye blend is on the money. This is the rye that craft drinkers everywhere need, especially when it can be had for $60 or under.

  • Nose:

Powerful brown sugar, some mint and herbal spearmint. Toffee, a bit of pepper and orange peel. Bright, sweet, complex.

  • Taste:

Zesty on the palate - a bit more oak than expected. Complex and enjoyable, there is a ton of pepper, clove, rye spice and maple at first, with some fruity undertone developing with time. Plum, orange peel, a hint of pear. Spice gives way to sweet with extended time on the palate.

  • Finish:

Long finish, the rye spice regains grip once more. Gone is the gentle fruit - pepper, clove, and mint remain with a healthy dose of maple.

  • Overall:

Excellent, from tip to tail. Stellum Spirits first Rye blend is on the money. This is the rye that craft drinkers everywhere need, especially when it can be had for $60 or under.

  • Score:
