A blend of rye whiskeys aged between five years and five months, and seven years, this is a collaboration between Stellum Spirits and Star Trek Spirits. Released in April 2025 alongside a Cask Strength Blended Whiskey, Stellum Spirits Romulus Rye Whiskey has a total mashbill of 82% rye, 14% corn and 4% malted barley. It was distilled from an undisclosed Kentucky Distillery and bottled by Star Trek Spirits in Rohnert Park, California. Both collaborative bottles are inspired by the Romulan Ale bottle from "Star Trek." This whiskey has a suggested retail price of $79.99 per 750-milliliter bottle.

  • Nose:

    French toast, clove, anise, powdered sugar, pepper, candied ginger, lemon oil.

  • Taste:

    A big spruce note erupts on the palate, joined by caramel, cinnamon, orange rind, powdered ginger, a bit of ethanol, plum and maple syrup.

  • Finish:

    The finish is medium in length, leading off with a big clove note, followed by pepper, anise, cinnamon and coffee grounds.

  • Overall:

    A solid rye whiskey with lots of flavor. If you buy this, it's probably for the bottle, but rest assured the whiskey inside is good.
