Sol Tarasco Charanda Añejo is a Mexican rum distilled from pressed sugarcane juice in Michoacán, Mexico. This expression is infused with Cordyceps sinensis mushrooms, traditionally used by the Purépecha people. Bottled at 46.5% ABV, it retails for around $49.99
This is a fine bottling. The flavors are nice, vanilla, a bit of earthiness, iodine. You get a good sense of some of the underlying cane with a nice cask influence.
