Old Scout is a line of whiskeys from the West Virginia-based Smooth Ambler Distillery. For Old Scout bottlings, Smooth Ambler doesn't use its own distillate, instead sourcing (or "scouting") barrels from other distilleries. The 7-year-old edition of Old Scout made its long-awaited return in 2024. Old Scout 7 features a mash bill of 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley. Suggested retail price is $64.99.
