Smooth Ambler Contradiction is a 92-proof blended bourbon whiskey. It combines straight bourbons from West Virginia, Indiana and Tennessee. The West Virginia bourbon has a mashbill of 71% corn, 21% wheat and 8% malted barley. The Indiana bourbon consists of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. The Tennessee bourbon features 84% corn, 8% rye and 8% malted barley. The bourbon is produced using continuous column and pot distillation. Grains are sourced from various suppliers, and annual production is around 50,000 bottles.

  • The burn kinda sneaks up on you, and leads into a spicy finish with just a hint of fruit and leather, making it very highball or Manhattan-friendly.
