Skorpios 1618 Tequila Joven is produced in the Amatitán Valley of Jalisco, Mexico, at NOM 1522. It is a blend of tequila blanco and añejo aged 22 to 24 months, made from agave matured seven to 10 years and produced using brick ovens, roller crushing and copper pot distillation. It is bottled at 40% ABV and typically retails for about $190.
The flavor skews distinctly herbal, with sage, mint and fresh tarragon that fade into mild coconut and vanilla sweetness accented with white pepper sparks.
