Bottled at 80 proof, Signal Hill Canadian Whisky is distilled at Hiram Walker in Ontario, aged between 3 and 5 years and blended and bottled in Newfoundland. Made from about 90% Ontario corn and malted barley, it matures in new white oak, ex-bourbon and Canadian whisky barrels. The brand is partially owned by Dan Aykroyd.
The taste is smooth and sweet with caramel apples, honey, maple, and brown sugar, along with subtle hints of red grapes and raisins that carry over into the finish – which is long and sweet with lingering bit of honey
Golden raisins and dried fruits with brown sugar, maple cream, dark rum, and classic peppery rye spices on the palate. Citrus peel, sandalwood, vanilla, soft oak, and a hint of spice. Rummy throughout with blackstrap molasses tugging on the palate in the finish.
