Released in January 2026 by K. Spoetzl Brewery, this is a non-alcoholic version of the classic Texas beer, Shiner Bock, which the brewery claims is the No. 1 craft beer in Texas. The release follows 2023's release of Shiner's debut non-alc line, Rode0.
Shiner Bock Non-Alcoholic is made with roasted barley malt, German specialty hops and artesian well water. Shiner recommends pairing it with smoky brisket, grilled sausage and mole enchiladas.

Malty nose that reads like a pretty typical bock aroma, plus an unexpected note of grilled meat.
Nice mouthfeel. The flavor profile is relatively similar to a typical bock — dark and malty — but there's also an odd note that’s somewhere between citrus peel and baking soda, plus a bit of a minerality.
The finish closes with malt, a touch of orange peel and a bit more of that baking soda note.
An overall nice non-alc beer that’s held back by an off note or two. I will say that I think Shiner's food pairing recommendations are spot on; this would pair especially nicely with brisket.
