  • This expression tastes like a very old rum without the musk and oak, instead offering bigger fruit flavors. For the price, this is a must-grab bottle that can be used in cocktails and is excellent for sipping neat.

  • The profile runs woody and spiced with notes of leather, apple, pear, honey, dark chocolate, tobacco. While I’m more of a Martinique/agricole and funky rum lover, this remains a classic example of Venezuelan rum with its new packaging elevating the rum.
