Sagamore Spirit Barrel Select Rye S1B27 is a Maryland-style blend of 7-year-old straight rye whiskies bottled at 55% ABV (110 proof). The 750 ml release retails for around $70.99.

Part of the Sagamore Spirit Barrel Select Program, the expression blends a high-rye 95% rye, 5% malted barley mash bill with a 53% rye, 42% corn, 5% malted barley mash bill. Each barrel is selected for its distinct character, with no two expressions tasting the same.

    Bright cherry, solid oak, and classic rye spice. Stands out clearly compared to most other ryes.

  • Taste:

    Rich and robust with plenty of fruit, toasted oak, and a nice touch of fig that I really enjoy.

  • Finish:

    Well-balanced and smooth—not too heavy, just enough spice and warmth to make you want the next sip.

  • Overall:
