Ry3 Whiskey Rum Cask is a blend of three rye whiskeys finished in rum casks. It combines 95% rye from MGP, 100% rye from Alberta Distillers and 12-year-old light whiskey made primarily from corn and aged in used, uncharred barrels. Developed by Matt Witzig, co-founder and former master blender of Joseph Magnus, Ry3 is produced by Phenomenal Spirits. Bottled at 100 proof, it retails for about $70.

  • I would imagine Ry3 would work wonders in the right cocktail or hot summer day, but as a sipper, its taste doesn’t quite live up to its concept.
