Rooster Rojo Tequila Añejo is produced at the Fabrica de Tequilas Finos distillery in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, under parent company Amber Beverage Group. It is made from 100% blue Weber agave sourced from the Los Altos Highlands, cooked in autoclaves, double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills and aged for at least one year in ex-bourbon American oak barrels. The spirit is bottled at 40% ABV and retails for around $35 to $65 depending on market.
