Ron Izalco 10 Year Rum is a blend of molasses-based rums from Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama. Produced in Central America from sugarcane grown in mineral-rich volcanic soil, it is bottled at varying proofs.
The mellow oak aroma includes a smoky hint. Vanilla sweetness leads the surprisingly robust palate, followed by hints of fudge, cocoa powder and a nutty hint. Cinnamon-clove tingle winds into a gentle, mouthwatering finish.
